The event was FANTASTIC! Featuring motivational speaker Eric LeGrand at Seton Hall University. Eric LeGrand was a Rutgers University football star back in 2010 when he sustained a spinal cord injury. Eric has since demonstrated his strength by shattering all expectations for his recovery and rehabilitation. He has established Team LeGrand as a fundraising are for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation to carry forward the legacy of the late Christopher Reeve. In 2012 Eric was presented with the Unsung Hero Award by the New Jersey Hall of Fame!
Eric spoke to SFIC students and encouraged them to keep moving forward even with obstacles. Students asked questions and the event was even covered by ABC 7 Eyewitness news. Here is the clip from the news program.
